The founding director was responsible for some of the earliest ceramic wear linings in the United Kingdom, South Africa and Australia, including the pioneering of wear resistant ceramics in pipes and fans.

The GRS Medical factory is on site and manufactures a wide variety of disposable products, which includes Urine Bags, Wound Drainage Units, as well as several respiratory products.
